METHACRYLATE PARTS
For routine cleaning, all the shiny parts are to be treated with a soft cloth moistened with water or liquid degreaser called “NEUTRAL”, or an antistatic (eg. “Ready multi-static surface or equivalent”).
Avoid: the use of acetone, trichlorethylene and ammonia. The use of steel wool pads and creams abrasive that could scratch the surface.
LACQUERED PARTS
We recommend that you clean polished lacquered parts with a soft cloth dampened with water only. For the parts with embossed paint, dampen cloth with water and dry surface immediately.
LAMINATED PARTS
They can be cleaned with liquid detergent or alcohol. Avoid using powdered detergents that are abrasive or contain chlorine.
WOODEN PARTS
The paints used on wooden parts protect against absorption of humidity and dirt.
Clean with a cloth dampened with water containing a little alcohol or detergent suitable for wood.
STEEL PARTS
They should be cleaned with specific products or water and detergent. It is important to dry them as limestone in water can leave spots. Avoid using powder detergent and abrasive sponges.
ALLUMINIUM PARTS
For the normal cleaning use a cloth dampened with water diluited with alcool; do not use detergent and abrasive spounges.
LAMINATED COUNTERTOPS
They are resistant to water, heat, detergents and oil. When cleaning, avoid using steel wool which will eventually remove the laminate’s protective surface. Avoid resting pots just taken off the fire, especially if they have thick bottoms.
MARBLE AND GRANITE COUNTERTOPS
They are treated with a waterproof agent that protects them during daily use.
Never use acid detergents. Aggressive substances such as lemon Juice, coffee or wine must be removed immediately as thei corrosive powers will leave a permanent stain. Clean with a cloth or sponge dampened with water. Every two or three months they must be treated with liquid wax or a specific waterproofing agent.
LlGHT QUARTZ COUNTERTOPS
They are resistant to wear and tear, intense heat, acids and chemical reagents found In domestic detergents. Clean with detergent and water, if necessary.Stubborn stain may be removed with concentrated detergents.
SOME USEFUL TIPS
Lacquered or wooden parts are sensitive to direct light which causes colour variations. Make sure that the sun does not shine directly on the furniture. All paints may be removed with paint thinners or acetone so, keep them out of the kitchen.
When pouring boiling water into the sink, to prevent condensed steam from being deposited in the draining unit, it is sufficient to open the doos. It is also important to turn on the cold water tap too, so that only lukewarm water runs down the drain; this can avoid expansion of the pipes which causes leaks.Finnally containers of acid substances, if left open, can damage the steel of the sink. When cooking on the hob, switch on the extractor hood which conveys all the humid and greasy vapours towards the special filters provided, protecting nearby furniture.
When you need to mix water with a product to clean the forniture, distilled water gives the best results if the water in your area contains a lot of limestone. Warning! Never use great amounts of liquids, use damp cloths only. Don’t leave dish-cloths or rolls of paper-towels around the stove when the fire is on. They are inflammable and can cause serious damage to the furniture. Lacquered parts hight be scratched by shocks with metallic objects. Therefore parts damaged by knocks cannot be replaced under warrancy.
